The NATO C2COE is pleased to publish the Annual Overview 2017.
The document reflects the NATO C2COE assigned Program of Work 2017 and the additional activities undertaken to spread or gain knowledge on Command and Control.
This year’s overview contains besides general articles, several articles which provide more background. The article on Spanish Maritime Force support deals with some aspects of processes on the Joint Operational level. Another article gives special attention to the publication of the final SAS-104 report on C2 Agility Awareness development. Based on a NATO C2COE report for the United States European Command some lessons identified from the STEADFAST COBALT 2017 communications exercise are published. Finally the contribution on the FMN Operational Coordination Working Group deals with the challenges of implementing Federated Mission Networking.
