First German Netherlands Corps is constantly developing and enhancing its CP concept to remain a capable warfighting HQ. On Monday, 19th of April, the NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence gave a demonstration on the Virtual Decision Room Concept (and tool) to support #1GNC maintaining the same situational awareness and understanding, even when 1GNC members are not in the same place.
In a future even more volatile, uncertain, ambiguous, and complex environment, the amount of data to be processed and the interconnected events in multiple domains will increase the demand for support to the operational level commander’s decision-making process (DMP). This needs to be combined with efforts to increase survivability on the modern battlefield.
