Based on insights from the Human–Machine Teaming workshop held during the NATO C2COE Conference 2026, this paper presents key outcomes on how Human–Machine Teaming (HMT) can be practically embedded within Cross-Domain Command. Moving beyond a purely technological focus, it highlights cultural adaptation, system literacy, trust, training, and “true teaming” as critical enablers for effective Command and Control in complex, multi-domain operations.
