To align NATO-oriented courses, the NATO C2COE visited the Baltic Defence College (BDC) in Estonia this week. As the Department Head (DH) for Operations Planning, Operations Assessment, and Alternative Analysis (OPOAAA) discipline, we connect courses to NATO’s demands.
During our visit, Major Guus Peters (NLD A) established cooperation with the Baltic Defence College in Tartu and gained insights into their Comprehensive Operations Planning Course (COPC). This understanding sets the conditions for formally aligning the COPCs provided by different NATO-accredited entities, all of which share the same objectives. This initiative increases the number of annual student slots and offers a variety of courses on the calendar.
