Over five episodes (and a bonus episode) released in the upcoming days, we will dive deep into the critical themes shaping the future of C2:
- MDO-enabled Alliance: Transformation and the synchronization of military and non-military actors.
- Roles, Responsibilities & Authorities: Adapting decision-making to complexity.
- Continuity of C2: Building resilience in disrupted environments.
- Technological Enablers: Driving digital transformation and interoperability.
- Human Factors: Navigating cognitive demands, trust and the Educational and Training needs.
In first episode, we explore how the Alliance can turn Multi-Domain Operations from a concept into a practical reality. Featuring MG Dominique Luzeaux and Col Joost Wezemer (NATO ACT), the discussion delves into the MDO Enabled alliance further transformation of Command and Control. Moving from platform-centric to data-centric and “confidence-aware” operations.
To highlight the importance of MDO and CDC. Future operations will require closer coordination not only across military domains, but also with non-military actors, partners and other organisations. The ability to synchronise activities, share information and coordinate decisions across different communities will become increasingly important.
