In this episode of the NATO Senior Mentors podcast, we are joined by LtGen (retired) Jan Broeks, who previously served as the Director-General of the International Military Staff at NATO from 2016 to 2019. He also held the position of Head of the permanent delegation at NATO and the EU from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, he served as the coordinating commander for the reorganization and restructuring of the Dutch Ministry of Defence.
LtGen Broeks currently holds the position of NATO Senior Mentor for Joint Strategic Environment and Joint Logistics & Enablement. Moreover, he serves as a Senior Mentor at the NATO Defence College, specializing in Negotiation, Mediation, and Decision-making Exercises for the Senior Course.
