In this episode of the NATO Senior Mentors podcast, we are joined by retired Retired Lieutenant General Michael Lollesgaard, discussing the topics of Command and Control, Multi-Domain C2 and SOF operations

Commissioned in 1984, has held battalion, brigade and division command, and has extensive experience in international operations. In recent years, he commanded the UN Force in Mali and was later appointed Assistant Secretary-General to lead the UN Mission in Hodeida, Yemen. Following this, he was selected to be Chief of the Danish Army. From May 2021 to May 2022, he commanded NATO Mission in Iraq. Lt. Gen. Lollesgaard has, throughout his career, been a leading figure in the development of Danish doctrine and has a broad experience in training and exercise evaluation. Since December 2022, he joined the Senior Mentors Programme responsible for JFC Naples. We welcome, General Lollesgaard.

This series of podcasts with ACO Senior Mentors which are all former high ranking officers and commanders working in and for NATO, aims to catch their knowledge of and experiences in NATO and discus Command and Control (C2) in NATO future warfare. The aim of the NATO C2 COE and NATO senior mentors is to foster the military strategic debate of a wider audience which includes staff officers in order to prepare them for future endeavors and support cultural change.
