On January 19th, 2023, Major-General Dick C. van Ingen van Ingen, Deputy Commander of the Royal Netherlands Airforce, visited the NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence (NATO C2 COE) in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The visit was an opportunity for General van Ingen to be briefed on the C2 topics and developments within the Centre, including the status ofour centre within NATO and the developments of Multi-Domain Operations Command and Control within the alliance.
During the visit, the NATO C2COE team had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work to General van Ingen, highlighting their contributions to the NATO C2 community and their role in providing expertise and guidance on command and control related issues.
As General van Ingen mentioned: “As a NATO Centre of Excellence for Command and Control, it is crucial to prioritize and focus on areas that will be most beneficial to the alliance as a whole. This is where the added value of Centers of Excellences, particularly the NATO C2COE, lies.”
