HQ SACT’s Strategic Issues and Engagements Branch (SPP) Chiefs of Transformation Conference (COTC) Team, with the assistance of the C2COE in the NLD, conducted the second 2019 Chiefs of Transformation Workshop (COT WS 2), 18-20 September 2019 at the Waterliniezaal, building V5, of the Kromhout Barracks in Utrecht, NLD. The workshop conducted at the working level and was targeted towards the identified staff points of contact for NATO and Partner nation Chiefs of Transformation (COTs) at the OF4-OF5 level involved in the management of national transformation.
The Chiefs of Transformation Conference (COTC) is NATO Allied Command Transformation’s key annual event directed primarily at national Flag/General Officer level decision-makers (NATO and Partners) involved in transformation and capability development.
COTC remains the only venue that gathers the key leaders from NATO HQ’s, national COTs and ACT’s senior leadership together for open interaction and discussion. Allows ACT to promote and gather support for its transformational initiatives from NATO HQ and across the wider NATO organization.
COTC 19 (10-12 December) will seek to interconnect national transformation initiatives with those of ACT, particularly in the areas of innovation, longer-term capability development, and training. National COTs, along with other senior NATO and partner nation leaders, will be invited to discuss and exchange innovative ideas and best practices while identifying actionable outcomes towards improving interoperability, cooperation and partnership.
