In this episode of the NATO Senior Mentors podcast, we are joined by retired French Lieutenant General Pascal Delerce.

Graduating as a Fighter Pilot in 1988, he spent most of his career flying the Mirage and M2000 as an Air Defense Pilot. During this operational period, he participated in several major exercises, including the Tactical Leadership Programme, Red Flag, and Maple Flag, and shared his expertise within NATO structures.

In 2017, he was appointed as Chief of Staff of the Air Force Command in Bordeaux-Mérignac. The following year, upon promotion to Major General, he assumed the role of Deputy Commander of the Air Force Command.

In 2019, he took over as Deputy Commander of NATO’s Allied Air Command, headquartered at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. This position marked his final active military role.

Since retiring, he has worked as a consultant on Command and Control for NATO Air and serves as a NATO Senior Mentor.
