On Thursday, 27 November, a delegation from the Finnish Armed Forces visited the NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence (NATO C2COE) in Utrecht.

As one of the Alliance’s newest members, Finland’s rapid integration into NATO’s Command and Control architecture is a high priority. The delegation, led by LTGEN (OF-8) Kim Jäämeri (as FIN MILREP), engaged in discussions on current developments and how Finland can further deepen its integration into the evolving NATO C2 structure in the coming years.

During the visit, both sides exchanged insights and experiences, and the guests were briefed on the mission, responsibilities, and added value of the NATO C2COE within the Alliance.

The NATO C2COE Director, COL Mietta Groeneveld (NLD A), highlighted the importance of the visit, stating: “This visit offered an excellent opportunity to share perspectives and mutual understanding. We look forward to strengthening our future cooperation with our Finnish colleagues.”
