How to get to the NATO C2COE Utrecht

Public transportation from Schiphol International Airport.

There is a direct train connection from Schiphol International Airport to Utrecht Central Station (Utrecht CS). The entrance of the train station is located in Arrival Hall 1 (signposted). Tickets must be obtained from a vending machine that takes credit cards or bank cards only. Before 06:00 a direct train for Utrecht Central Station leaves every hour and the journey takes approximately 50 minutes. From 06:00 to 21:00 the departure is every 15 minutes, after 21:00 ever 30 minutes; now the journey will take approximately 35 minutes.
At Utrecht CS you may decide to take a taxi or use bus transport to the Kromhout Barracks. The bus station and thee taxi stand are signposted. Bus line 12, or 41, brings you to the Kromhout Barracks, take direction Uithof UMC AZU. Bus line 12 leaves Utrecht Central Station approximately every 6 minutes, during rush hours even more frequently.
Get out of the bus at bus stop Stadion Galgenwaard (soccer stadium). From there it is a short walk to the barracks’ main entrance.

Report to the guard at the main entrance. The NATO C2COE is in building K01. The guard will help you on your way to the building.

By car from Schiphol International Airport.

Leave the airport via the signposted route for the Exit.
Take the motorway A4 in the direction Utrecht/Haarlem/Amsterdam.
After approx. 3 kms take the exit toward motorway A9 direction Amstelveen/Utrecht.
After 12 kms take the exit towards motorway A2/E35 direction Utrecht.
After 27 kms take the exit towards motorway A12 direction Houten/A12.
After approx 4 kms take exit number 18 (Hoograven) and follow direction Houten.
On the roundabout take 3rd exit to Waterlinieweg, direction Hoograven/Lunetten.
After 3 kms go left to Herculesplein, direction Galgenwaard soccer stadium. Turn left to stay on the Herculesplein and follow direction De Uithof-West.
After 100 metres the main entrance to the barracks is on your left.

Report to the guard at the main entrance and ask for a parking spot. Commonly you will be requested to park at Q-Park, across the street (Herculeslaan) at a discounted rate. The NATO C2COE is in building K01. The guard will help you on your way to the building.
